In early 1989, Chris and Patty Kontur (CPK) started a small carpentry contracting firm. The pair employed Patty’s sharp business acumen and Chris’s knowledge of custom carpentry, cabinet making, and contracting to form CPK Construction. In 1996, the company evolved into a general contracting firm, and CPK Construction was incorporated. Chris followed his passion for fine craftsmanship and high end finishes as well as a keen attention to detail to produce beautiful, timeless products. Patty established the business foundation that has been built upon to become the streamlined organization that exists today.

Sons Evan and Jonathan have joined the CPK team, ensuring succession of the mission, vision, and values.
